What is covered

The main keynote of each edition of the major tech, data and AI conferences, usually the opening or CEO keynote, going back two to three editions. A conference with two headline keynotes (for example Snowflake Summit\'s opening and platform keynotes) has both.

Sources

Each keynote is read from official places only: the official video on the host\'s own channel with its published captions, and the host\'s recap post or press release. Nothing comes from commentary, analysts or rumor. Every keynote page links its video (or the official keynote page when there is no video) and its sources.

Summaries, highlights and themes

The summary and the 3 to 7 highlights are written by an AI model from the transcript or recap it was given, and each keynote says which: "AI-written summary from the published transcript" or "from the official recap". When neither could be read yet, the page says Summary pending rather than guessing. Each highlight links its source: the second in the video where it is said, or the page that states it. Every keynote also carries 1 to 3 key themes from a fixed list, so themes can be compared across years on the Themes page.

Timestamps

Where the video\'s captions were available, each highlight links to the second where the topic starts. Where they were not, the highlight links the recap instead of a guessed time.

Announcement status

• GA: said to be generally available on the day.
• Preview: public or private preview, or beta.
• Coming: a stated future release.
• Announced: the recap does not say.

Updates and history

A check runs every day at 10:00 UTC but only works in the 14 days after a tracked conference ends (conference dates come from the Events site). It finds the host\'s recap post and official video, reads the post, and summarizes it in one batched model call, picking themes from the fixed list. Without a model it still adds the keynote, marked Summary pending. Its finds are shown as Unverified until checked by hand. Nothing is overwritten silently: every added keynote and every changed summary, highlight, theme or date is kept in an append-only history, on the Changes page and at /api/changes.

People

Speakers are shown with their public professional role and a link to an official profile. Photos appear only from an official press source with credit; otherwise initials.
